NATIONAL SALES MANAGER - TRAVEL INDUSTRY
BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Our Client, one of Romanian’s most reputed and veteran Travel Company / Tour Operator is looking for National Sales Manager - for national network of travel agencies to lead the sales and promotion.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
10 plus years of experience in sales, promotion, retail network management of leisure travel products and services.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for increasing the market share / penetration across all sales territories in the country.
- Responsible for implementing the marketing activities across all sales territories in the country.
- Maintain good relationships and build network with the Travel Agents across all the sales territories
- Represent the Travel group in important events & trade meetings at National and Regional level.
- Look for new business avenues for the Travel group at National and Regional level.
- Managing Product and Coordinating with Regional and Branch Managers
- Managing Sales Coordinator & working closely with analyst.
- Ensuring that all the RMs are receiving information related to the Sales Targets and Market Intelligence for their concerned region
- Conducting regular meetings with the RMs and delegating targets to them
- Motivating the Regional Sales teams to achieve their sales targets.
- Responsible for all People Management related issues of the sales force at the National and Regional level.
- Make sure the staff at branches are updated with and have good knowledge of the Company Products. Also make sure that the sales people across all the territories have good understanding of Market and Competitive trends.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Possess business acumen needed to interact, negotiate with all management levels including C-level contacts.
- Proven skills in Staff management and development.
- Must be a diligent worker having strong co-ordination abilities.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent financial and analytical capabilities.
- Superior presentation and written communication skills a must.
- Self-motivated, team effort enabler
- Should have proven track record of leading the national sales force of the travel / retail company.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Sales/Marketing with substantial sales and BD experience in Travel/Hospitality services sector
